About Me
This is me, Keya Rajput Milla.
I am Indian American.
And Hindu.
And my background is ½ Bengali and ½ Gujarati.
This is my husband, Robbie Milla.
His background is ½ Filipino, ¼ Italian and ¼ Spanish.
And he is Catholic.
We got married in a fantastic whirlwind of ceremonies and traditions representing our dual faiths and many heritages.
And then we had Aashi.
She is everything we are, and more.
This blog is my attempt to chronicle the challenges I face as a mother (a city mom, attorney mom, and wife of a busy attorney husband and father) while raising Aashi, our multiracial, multiethnic, dual faith daughter.
Keya! I am so glad you are blogging about your dual-faith family and I’m adding you to my blogroll today. Your posts are eloquent, your photos beautiful, and every post will be hugely helpful to others. Welcome to the interfaith families blogosphere.
Thank you, Susan! I am thrilled to join and happy to have this outlet to express what we are learning and living as a family. Your blog – On Being Both – is an inspiration I will continue to draw from, I am sure!
